It's all Kristie's fault.....

Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I saw her beautiful quilt she posted here: http://quiltingcowgirl.blogspot.com/2008/01/its-started.html
and that was all it took. No, mine is not exactly the same, but it was as close as I could come. Thanks Kristie! I think I'll take these with me tomorrow night to work on with my church group of crafty women. I've got a bunch of FQ's in the same color family and I think I'll use them for this one.

Also, about the new mat I bought today that I posted a pic of earlier, It RAWKS! I didn't realize how bad mine was until now. And...being double sided, it's like I got two mats for the price of one and 40% off at that. It's been a good day!

Oh, I liked that quilt that Kristie showed, too! Isn't it nice to have a new toy? Enjoy the mat!

Hehehehe!!! I think it is the same pattern, isn't it?? I know mine was a version of Jacobs ladder, but called steps to the alter. It is one of my favorites, that is why I am doing another one, which at the rate that I am going you will have yours finished before I do. Love the colors, are you just using those two or several different ones? I think it is a really easy quilt to throw together.

Did you say that you got your mat at Joann's? The closest thing to me is Walmart and they don't have anything like that. Mom and I are planning a trip to Joann's soon and I usually get those coupons alot, I will have to put that on my list. I like the look of it.

Just read your comment on my blog! I'm just a regular quilter like all the rest of us! :)
