Forgotten UFO's

Do any of the rest of you do this? Get all the blocks made for a quilt, stow 'em away somewhere, and then forget all about 'em? I do it all the time. I happened on my Double Delight blocks today. I'd forgotten I had made them. So, out they came. I finished up the ten blocks I needed and started sewing them together. I love this pattern. One of Bonnie Hunters' previous mystery patterns. LOVE IT! How could I forget one that I knew I loved? Not a clue. It should be put together by end of tomorrow. Then ... borders...ughhh! So here it is as of now.....

Oh I LOVE the colors! I'm doing the Carolina Christmas in different colors than Bonnie picked. I'm gonna have to play around with the lay out tho...I'm not too sure I'm fond of the one she is using. I will have to see what it looks like with my colors. Not a pressing problem as I'm only in the middle of clue TWO! Merry Christmas!

Isn't it nice to "find" something like that? Beautiful work!!!

Have you seen Bonnie's latest mystery quilt - Carolina Christmas? It's on my to do list for next year.

Hugs,
Cathy

Yeah...I got one or two UFOs stashed away too. Love the colors in yours. And somewhere I've got the beginnings of a GFG. Need to pull it out too.

And sweet Kaden. I pray for good health for him!

YES! Blogland is great to post the good, bad, and funny. I try very hard to leave the ugly shelved. Once or twice I'll be typing away and think, "I can't mention that" because it's too personal or I'm badmouthing someone and naming names! So...delete.

I am really bad about doing that. My favorite part is the planning and cutting the quilt top, then I like to piece the blocks and then the top, but I could really call it finished there. I won't tell you how many tops I have waiting to be quilted but it is a lot. I have just as many "kits", some people call them UFOs but I like to be different. Sometimes I open a kit to find all the blocks made and the borders cut I just need to assemble. I wonder what I was thinking when I did that.
