Blue Ridge Beauty

Ok..I'm a Bonnie Hunter fan. Yep, it's so true. I saw this quilt on her leaders and enders page It's called Blue Ridge Beauty and looks like this. Now who wouldn't want to own this quilt. Or make one. I had to have one. So I found out it was published in here. It's just beautiful. I ordered the magazine a while back and it came right after the new Orange Crush mystery quilt started. Now, I don't have clue 3 done yet, but I do have about 100 blocks of the BRB done.
I need to get back to the clues and get caught up there before the next clue is posted. Perhaps on Friday. I have a lot of errands to get done tomorrow and some stuff to take care of before my Chamber of Commerce meeting next Monday night. Life really can get in the way of quilting sometimes. That really needs to change....hehehheheee
I don't know much about copywrite issues and all of that. If I stepped on any toes or didn't do anything right, sorry. I just love all of Bonnie's patterns. I'm an addict and I'm not looking for any interventions or twelve step programs. Just wanna make 'em all....

I agree with you about the quilts that Bonnie makes. She seems to be such a down-to-earth type person. Just someone you would want to call your best friend.

Good luck on the road of making all or at many of her quilts.

I just love that quilt!!!! You must have had a ton of blues! So how many of those blocks do you have to have?? I can't wait to see them all sewn together!

Oh, don't worry about being behind on the OC. I have all of the steps finished but I haven't ironed step 2 or 3!!! That will take me forever!

That's a pretty quilt - did you have the fabric already, or buy it specially? I've only made the Maverick Stars of Bonnie's patterns, and am on my way with the OC, but certainly plan to make more.

That is a beautiful quilt. I may have to look into getting that magazine so I have the pattern for future use. Never can have too many!

Here's something interesting...
When I saw that quilt in the Quiltmaker for the first time...I thought "OMG!! No way would I ever make that! Waaayyyyy too many pieces!"

That was BEFORE I knew it was a Bonnie-Quilt! I found Quiltville back in December with some LUCK one night while surfing. After putting two-n-two together and realizing Blue Ridge was hers, I had second thoughts on the quilt.

However....it's STILLLLL a lot of pieces, so I'm not sold on it yet!!
