Big, huge, gigantic OOPS

Yep. Only one person noticed it. Jean sent me an email and was so sweet. Apologizing all the way about noticing that one quarter of my BRB is on wrong. And she's right. I noticed it after I got all the borders on. So...it's going to stay wrong. The way I laid it out is wrong. One quarter is completely backwards. OOPS! I still like it. It's going on my bed. So, I'll live with it. I didn't see it until I was taking a pic of it with the borders on. Oh well....life is one big learning curve for me.
I'll bet some of you did notice it and were just being too polite to say anything. Not that Jean wasn't polite. She was just so sweet about it. Well...I'm off to load a quilt on the frame....

What a bummer! But I bet hardly anybody will notice. I've just done exactly the same thing - completely finished a quilt, a sort of disappearing four-patch, and noticed that half the rows are pointing in the opposite direction to the other. But there you go. Life happens. I'll be posting the picture on my next blog.

I didn't notice and had to really look to find it. But, I suppose it's because I'm really not that familiar with the pattern. If I didn't notice it, I doubt a lot of people will, my eye usually is drawn right towards stuff like that because I'm always trying to disect a quilt to figure out how it went together.

I still think it looks completely fabulous!!!

Now the funny thing is, I was going to blog on this topic today before I even READ your post!!

It is beautiful, and you will enjoy it on your bed. I am still not exactly sure where the booboo is, and I quilt. Most people will just be in awe.

It's a beauty! It's your humility quarter as they say.

God is the only one who can make anything perfect. The rest of us are just struggling to do the best we can...some days are better than others. Don't let it bother you that a part is headed south and everyting else is headed north (or what ever). It is your creation and the only one-of-a-kind.

Chin up - chest out - smile on lips and enjoy!

I couldn't see it until you pointed it out. Isn't it funny how our eyes see what they want to see? It will still look great on your bed. It's a beautiful quilt.

I didn't notice it, and I am still having a hard time finding it. Maybe you could manufacture a new pattern and call it 'Three Quarters,Then Turn', (Or dosey do). It will be the hottest new quilt pattern around! It looks great! I wouldn't change a thing, and if you don't mention it, NO one else will notice it. Like Moneik said, it's your humility quarter. It blends in so well, it will never be a problem.
