YBR Finished!

Completely finished and even washed and dried. Yayyyyyy....finally a finish. My hubby is too short to hold it all the way up and ignore the dogfest. They think every blanket, pillow, throw, or quilt in the house is for them. Two of the dogs, Mugsy and Popcorn, got shaved today. Mugsy is glad, Pop is not so happy to be naked. Mugsy has a dewclaw (not sure if that's the correct spelling on that) problem. He always has trouble with one of them. Grows into the pad of his foot. Now he's got an infection in it and has to be on antibiotics. Also, he got his distemper shot. None of the four dogs are on the same schedule. All their shots are due at a different time. Maybe thats better, money wise. The other two, Tator Tot and Qtip get shaved next Thursday. I'm trying to get them all done now because my groomer, Faye, is having a baby in April. Yep, I have a quilt all made and ready for Faye's new baby. That's my world for today. Off to watch, Idol, Lost and Eli Stone. Thursday is the only night I really watch tv.....

I can't believe how many people have made this pattern. It looks simple enough that I may have to give my hand a whirl at it. Where was this initially published, that so many of you seem to have the patterm?

Looks great! I too have this pattern, and have never tried it. Maybe I should someday. Problem is, on weeknights, I have no energy after working a 10 hour day, and on weekends, I want to have fun, and there just aren't enough hours in the day!
Congratulations!

That's an awesome quilt! The YBR is one of my favorite quilts. I've made 4 in the last year and am collecting to make one for myself.

What a very bright, happy, spring like quilt! I love it. Your dogs are cute too. Hope Mugsy's boo boo gets better soon:0)

Wow the YBR is beautiful! Emma does not like it when we get a hunter's cut for her....this is shaving her hair down on her ears and everything! She does not like her backside feathering to be shaved! She likes to have get an English Springer Spaniel cut....although for that they shave her tail which again not a favorite thing.

so glad you stopped by for a visit! hope you come again! Love the YBR. It isn't my favorite to make- I hear turning twenty is even easier. I just rarely use fat quarters. I think I was coming down with the 'flu last week. It may explain my chills and lack of taste in clothing!! Best wishes and God bless. ~Nines

Love that YBR - it is one of my favorite patterns, and I love that it makes such a big "lap quilt" since I have a lot of tall people in my extended families.
