My husband's Grandmother, Florence Keith, made this. The best I can figure it out, it was made in the 40's. She left it to me when she died. I love it! Just thought I'd share a peek with you all!
It's really beautiful with scalloped edges and all hand done. It's a really big deal to me that she left it to me. She also left me her old trundle (sp?) sewing machine. I'll make a post about that too one day.....
Well...time for some sewing....

Mmmmm...what yummy colors. I have some serious quilt envy.
Is it a quilt, or table runner?
Oh Regina, it is beautiful!!! Such a precious gift! You are very lucky to have it. I can't wait to see a photo of the old sewing machine!!! Thanks for sharing.

Hi! I love the quilt your DH's grandma left to you; it was made from a kit in the 40's probably. You can check eBay to see more of them - they came in a couple of different color choices, I think.
Beautiful quilt, and such sweet memories of Grandma. :-)

PS And the sewing machine is a *treadle*. Oh, and when I said the quilt was made from a kit in the 40's probably - the 'probably' refers to the 40's, as it was definitely made from a kit. :-)
That's very pretty. Ir reminds me of something my Grandma had on her table but hers was embroidered.
It is so pretty! How nice that she gave it to you to cherish.
