I wanna cut these fabrics...but......

I just love these fabrics. I've been just looking at them all pretty together for months. Problem: I can't find a pattern that seems to work for them. I was originally going to do pinwheels with them, but it just doesn't seem right for them. These fabrics are unhappy being seperate. I can hear them calling out to me at night. Anyone have any idea? Something that will make them happy? I'd appreciate any and all suggestions....I know from looking at all your blogs that you have wonderful ideas....share some??? Thanks in advance....Regina

I guess in part it depends on how big your quilt is going to be. I'd be looking for a bigger design with those colors in it - something that would all go with. Sometimes in a collection there are bigger designs along with the smaller ones. Could you check out the collection that the print is in and see what else was in that collection? What you have there goes great together.

I would suggest a double irish chain with the flowers being the center block or maybe a churn dash with the flowers being the same and the backgrounds being different.

I really don't know what to tell you! I have some collections of fabric that I have had for a few years just waiting for an idea to hit me! You will find the perfect pattern for them in time. By the way, I love those fabrics...I love the orange! Or at least it looks orange in the photo. For some reason I have been buying some orange lately. Good Luck!

There is a nice pattern in the Feb. Quilter's World. Townhouse petals on page 51 or the one Iike is Starry Night on page 83. I know that sometimes you feel like you will never find the right pattern then suddenly there it is! Good luck and have fun!

Ohh, I agree, a double irish chain would really showcase them!
