Some interest in a quilt along?
I put this pic up yesterday. My friend, Linda, and I are doing this together. It's a very simple pattern. Nine patches made from 2.5" squares and Snowball blocks at 6.5". Just rotate. Linda is making hers a bit different. She's rotating the snowball block with the shoo fly block. That would work the same. You would need 2.5" half square triangles to make the shoe fly block and the snowball would remain the same.
Linda and I have both had interest from some of you who would like to join in. Sounds great! If you'd like to join in, we'd love it! This is going to be a rather long term project for Linda and I. We're in no hurry to finish, and just thought we'd do a few blocks a month. Planned fabrics or scrappy works for this. What a great way to use up some scraps. Leave me a comment to this post and I'll add you to list on my sidebar. Then we can oooooohhhhhh and ahhhhh over each others blocks! I love to "ooooohhhhh" and "ahhhhhhh"! This is a seriously "no pressure" project. Work at your own pace. No size restrictions. Easy and just fun!

I'm in!!!!!!!!!
You know what's funny? I'm basically working on the same pattern in a wall hanging that I worked up. Except mine isn't scrappy and there is applique involved. Maybe this gives me a reason to pull it out and get active on it. So I guess I'm "in" sort of half assed....
Have fun! I'll be watching to see all the progress that's made, but I have too many other projects going on to join in.
OK I'm in. I think this will be another good way use up some of my stash. Now I just need to go find where you put the pattern.
I decided to save my shoo fly for another project. I'm interchanging the snowballs and nine-patches as well. It's working out great with a layer cake I wanted to use, plus adding from my scraps!
I am in! I have a pattern for snowball and nine patch blocks that I have been wanting to do...so why not!
I hadn't realized that I could do it non scrappy...maybe I will do it non half assed. I have some pansy fabric that I've been holding hostage. I might have to see how that looks in EQ.
OK, I think I'm in...I was collecting black and white prints for a while to use for something; this might be it.
I'm in. Anything without a deadline is right up my alley.
OH OH OH..can I play too...count me in...this is jus the type of project I was looking for..I can use my scraps...yippee
SewCalGal sent me over and I would also like to sign up. I like the relaxed time frame here.
What a nice fun pattern for a quilt-a-long. I'd like to play along too. Who doesn't need more ongoing projects?
