Sewing is happening here in Casa One I! Working on these....
I decided to try something new! Quilting using one of those plastic design template things. I have no idea of the actual name for them, so that's what I call 'em. It's time consuming, but I'm enjoying the process. I have a lot of flowers to go though.
I've had these blocks made for a couple of years now and since seeing Patti's completed quilt in the same fabrics and pattern, I've been inspired to get mine put together! Thanks for the inspiration, Patti!
And now....back to the flowers!

Love the churn dash blocks! They are such fun, bright fabrics. Your quilting is looking awesome using the templates. I'm sure it's taking a while, but oh well, they'll look terrific in the end. Love the blocks for the quilt like Patti's. I love that pattern and could make it over and over and over again. Such a quick and easy pattern to make. Hope you're having fun sewing. I know it felt so good to sew and quilt last night. I haven't done that enough lately.
What fun colors for those squares... Just love it!
Wow.....can't believe I actually inspired someone....it looks good though! Your other blocks look great too!
Have fun!
I love the bright colours you're using, they're happy colours!
Love the quilt you are quilting with your template. I quilted a similar flower on a quilt I made but I had to draw it on with chalk. The fabrics are some of my favorites right now that you used. I came over to your blog from a site that listed Michigan quilting blogs. I have a blog, but it is not of anything specific just life. But I do quilt that was why the interest.
Your quilted flowers look terrific. I am sure the finished effect will be well worth it though.
Love them all! Especially the churn dash blocks...they are so cheerful!
